Your Key ResponsibilitiesSupport transport coordination, including route planning, carrier selection, and shipment tracking, and oversee the customs clearance process execution, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.Manage day‐to‐day transportation activities, including expedite requests and spot‐quote coordinationHandle transport efficiently, timely, and legally compliantly, collaborating with service provider and forwarder to meet requirements.Develop and document SOPs with carriers, including onboarding procedures and escalation workflowsAnalyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.Establishment, implementation and monitoring of tranportation KPI'sSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancementsCoordinate with external partners, such as freight forwarders and customs brokers, to facilitate smooth logistics operations.Monitor the performance of transport providers to ensure service quality.Collaborate with invoice auditors and carriers to resolve audit exceptions and approve compliant invoicesYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, and/or a related field1-3 years of experience in transportation, freight, or logistics coordinationKnowledge of transportation KPI development and performance monitoringProficiency in Transportation Management Systems and SAP systems preferredStrong MS Excel skills for cost analysis and reportingDetail-oriented, strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost opportunities and process gapsProactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset, able to work independently while also being a strong team collaboratorAbility to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to continuous learning and professional development, adapting to evolving industry trends, and technological advancements within transportation
