Caregiver

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This position requires a commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and their families. In this specific caregiver role, you will help your wheelchair bound client make it to their local appointments, very light housekeeping, spend time with Individual talking, watching TV, and companion care in general. This is a very easy client and shift. Tuesday and Thursday 4 hour shifts. Including mileage reumbursment Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients in daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Observe and report changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing individualized care strategies. Administer first aid as necessary and respond promptly to emergencies. Skills Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. Experience with ADLs and direct support for individuals with disabilities is preferred. Ability to observe patients effectively and recognize changes in their condition. Knowledge of caregiving techniques and familiarity with care plans. First aid certification is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
