Pipefitter MechanicSummaryPipe Fitter work to install and/or repair HVAC equipment, components, piping systems and associated materials per the project plans and specifications.Accountabilities:* Treat all people associated with Main Enterprises, both internally and externally, with respect, honesty andintegrity always.Work with a safe attitude promoting safe working practices.Follow a team of on-site project personal safely, effectively and efficientlyRead blueprints & specificationsPipe fluid conveyance systems for the installation of air handlers, condensing units, cooling towers, heat exchangers, boilers, VRF systems and chillers and the repair of the same.Experienced in working with and installing copper, black steel, and other types of piping systems.Experienced in working with and installing ProPress, Victaulic and other connector types.Skilled in various methods of grooving, cutting, threading, soldering, and brazing piping.Locate and mark positions for piping penetrations and equipment locations.Install supports and hangers for pipe and HVAC equipment.Install, repair and replacement of refrigerant piping and systems.Testing pipe systems and equipment for leaks.Meet all applicable trade and building codes.Other duties as assignedQualifications/Certifications:Valid CT Driver's License and Reliable TransportationCT Trade License - S-1 or S-2OSHA 10 and/or 30Physical & Mental Job Requirements:Climb ladders 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 ft. and extension ladders where scissor lift doesn't apply.Climb stairwellsUse of all required PPE (personal protective equipment)Able to lift min 75 lbs.Rig heavy equipment off load truck and equipmentBenefits:MedicalDentalLifeVision (add-on)401K Plan (with Company match)PTOHoliday PayAccessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact Main Enterprises atEmail: info@mainhvac.comEqual Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.If you want to view the Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal poster, please choose your language:
