Overview:Department: Respiratory TherapyFacility: Resurrection Medical CenterLocation: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631Schedule: 12-hour nights, non-exemptSign-On Bonus: $15,000.00 Responsibilities: In the absence of a supervisor, the CRT/RCP I may serve as Lead RCP, overseeing operations during their shift.Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician ordersManage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway managementPerform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysisConduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessmentsImplement patient-specific care plansDocument patient care, interventions, and outcomes accuratelyServe as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisorRespond to critical care situations and emergenciesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required 2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. 2 years experience as a RCP preferred. 4. ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current 5. NRP certificate preferred 6. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. 7. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred 8.
