DescriptionAmazon is seeking an exceptional Manager of Software Development to lead engineering teams responsible for the on-robot SW platform. This is a ground-floor opportunity to define and deliver software solutions for a strategic robotics initiative.As a Manager, you will use expertise and high judgment to design team structures and strategies to meet long-term business goals in areas where problems and strategies are not yet defined. You'll manage multiple teams building complex distributed systems for fleet coordination, continuous learning, and customer integrations, distilling diverse inputs from stakeholders to set vision and drive decisions. You will be 100% dedicated to your domain with full ownership of roadmap, technical strategy, and execution.The ideal candidate brings expertise building software at scale for robotic systems, managing complex integrations, and working cross-functionally to deliver business-critical systems. You understand robotics and AI-native development practices and have proven ability to build high-performing organizations from the ground up. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
