Guest Service Agent
Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, managing front desk operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction at the Wingate by Wyndham Fair & Expo. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with courtesy and efficiency. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline operations.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing using hotel management software.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
Conduct night audits when required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure all interactions reflect the hotel's commitment to hospitality excellence.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if necessary.
