Senior Product Manager (Content Management Tools)
The Senior Product Manager for Content Management Tools & Web Platform is responsible for web-based interface & tools that enable airlines and media operations to manage, configure, and deliver inflight entertainment (IFE) content and associated. The Senior Product Manager will act as a conduit between internal teams, airline/partner stakeholders, and other Product Managers to define and prioritize features across the product backlog. They are an outcome-focused individual with a passion for improving inflight experiences through efficient content operations, scalable tooling, and intuitive web experiences for airline media operations users.Core ResponsibilitiesLead ideation, technical development, and launch of content management tools and web-based platforms supporting IFEC systemsOwn and manage platforms that enable content ingestion, media catalog management, configuration, scheduling, and distribution to aircraftCollaborate with UI/UX, backend, and API teams to ensure seamless workflows across content operations, web interfaces, and onboard systemsDrive development of web portals that provide airline users with control, visibility, and configuration capabilities for IFE content and servicesAssist in establishing a shared vision across the organization by building alignment on priorities and execution plansGather and translate airline and internal operational needs into scalable product requirementsDrive platform development with engineering, product design, and cross-functional teams across content operations, distribution, and onboard integrationContribute to short-term and long-term product roadmaps for content management and associated web platformsEnsure products are designed with clear operational workflows, including content update cycles, validation, and deployment processesDefine and analyze metrics related to content operations, platform usage, and system reliabilityUnderstand the IFEC, Consumer Technology, and Entertainment Technology landscape as it relates to content delivery and management platformsEvaluate competitive offerings and deliver best-in-class tools that reflect the voice of the airline customerRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Media Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience3-7 years of experience in Product Management or Product Development in multimedia platforms, digital media, streaming, broadcasting, or content operations environmentsStrong understanding of end-to-end multimedia workflows, including ingestion, transcoding, metadata management, packaging, scheduling, and distributionExperience working with media asset management (MAM) or content management systems (CMS)Familiarity with web-based platforms used for content configuration, publishing, and system integrationsUnderstanding of content operations workflows, including content updates, validation, QA, and deployment cyclesFamiliarity with media formats and standards (e.g., MP4, MP3, MPEG-DASH, codecs such as H.264/H.265, DRM systems)Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, content operations, UX/UI, and external partnersAbility to influence without authority and manage competing priorities in complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsKnowledge of Product Management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and prototyping/wireframing toolsSoft SkillsCommunicates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and adapts messaging to audienceBuilds productive working relationships and influences collaboration across teamsExercises sound judgment when navigating ambiguity or incomplete informationSolves complex or non-routine problems by analyzing risks, impacts, and constraintsDemonstrates ownership of outcomes and proactively identifies improvementsAdapts quickly in dynamic environments and guides others through transitionMaintains resilience in challenging situations and helps stabilize team momentumApplies advanced technical or functional expertise to support operational excellenceBenefitsThe starting pay range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.In addition to a comprehensive package of health benefits that include company contributions, RAVE Aerospace offers a variety of additional benefits and perks to enhance your work-life balance experience including but not limited to:A home allowance to elevate your home workspaceDiscretionary bonus programFuture financial security with a 401(k) program with a company matchPaid time off covering vacations, personal time off, and sick days, capped off by an exciting year-end holiday shutdownEmbraced flexibility with our alternative work schedule (9/80) to navigate your workweeks with every other Friday off
