FABRICATION
Summary
Operate numerically controlled machine tools to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances. Responsible for coordinating fabrication activities/personnel.
Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Train other fabrication personnel as needed
Under direction of the Production Superintendent, direct personnel to move material, fabricate at work cells, package finished goods, etc.
Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
Previous fabrication experience required
Teamwork and multi-tasking skills
Must be able to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
Must be able to operate measuring devices
Must have knowledge of machining techniques/methods and related experience
Ability to write legibly and communicate clearly with professionalism and courtesy
Work Environment
Fabrication/warehouse environment
Physical demands may include but are not limited to:
High level of walking, standing, and/or climbing
Stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Work outside/inside around machinery with moving parts and vehicles
Exposure to all seasons of weather, as well as slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to lift a minimum of 60lbs
