Extension is seeking a Controller for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Sparta, WI.About Our ClientEstablished manufacturer with over 100 years of industry successLeading supplier supporting automotive and industrial markets across North AmericaCollaborative leadership team with strong operational presenceStable, growth-focused organization creating a newly added leadership positionOffers hands-on involvement with plant operations, costing, and strategic finance initiativesKey Objectives / Role ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting and financial operations for a large manufacturing facilityOversee monthly and annual close processes, financial reporting, and audit activitiesManage budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory controls, and KPI trackingPartner closely with plant leadership to drive operational and financial performanceEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate reporting standardsOversee ERP system utilization and process improvement initiativesManage cash flow, foreign currency transactions, property tax filings, and reporting requirementsLead and mentor accounting staff including AP, AR, and cost accounting functionsDesired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required4+ years of Controller experience within manufacturing environments2–3+ years of cost accounting experience requiredPrior experience supporting a $40M–$50M+ manufacturing organizationStrong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systemsAutomotive manufacturing experience highly preferredExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesCPA preferred but not requiredSalary Information$140k - $160k/year + 10% bonus opportunityWe’re looking forward to connecting with you and are excited to help you make your next career move!
