Job Title: Engineering Support TechnicianLocation: San Diego, CA, 92121Duration: 6+ Months with possible extensionPay Rate: $28.02–$35.02/HR Job DescriptionThe Engineering Support Technician is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for engineering operations and laboratory environments. This role includes equipment installation and relocation, cabling installation (coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optics), hardware and software support, and assisting with lab organization and maintenance activities. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily engineering and laboratory activities as directed by managementInstall, terminate, and route coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic cablingBuild equipment racks and install hardware according to rack elevations and wiring diagramsPerform hardware and software upgrades on engineering systems and lab equipmentAssist with laboratory setup, relocation, organization, and cleaning effortsTroubleshoot and support basic computer and network-related issuesPrioritize and complete assignments based on project and management requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and follow established proceduresDrive and assist in maintaining company vehicles as neededCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely project supportRequired QualificationsFamiliarity with Windows 11 and/or Linux operating systemsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to follow written instructions, procedures, and technical documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to remain professional and productive in a fast-paced environmentStrong time management and multitasking abilitiesFlexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills and responsibilitiesPreferred QualificationsBasic understanding of TCP/IP networking, including DNS and DHCPFamiliarity with Windows and/or Linux system administration conceptsFormal electronics training through military, technical school, or trade schoolExperience with cabling, rack assembly, or lab support environmentsEducation & ExperienceAssociate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferredEnterprise Solutions Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
