If you’re passionate about education and children, and ready to advance your career, we’d love to hear from you!Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities:Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plansSupport children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactionsPrepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belongingAssist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activitiesAdhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environmentSupport daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environmentQualifications:High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferredPrevious experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Shows empathy and compassion for young childrenWorks productively without supervisionBasic understanding of child developmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of childrenMust pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirementsIf you’re an energetic, nurturing person looking for a supportive and fun workplace, join us!
