Sanitation (General Labor) - 1st Shift - Retail - Demopolis

Position SummaryThe Operational Sanitation worker is responsible for maintaining assigned area in a clean and sanitized manner using proper equipment and procedures. Will also assist in-between shift sanitation. This role works closely with the department supervisors, other department leads and processing employees, in order to accomplish accuracy within the processing department and to ensure that our customers receive quality products.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintain assigned area in a clean and sanitized mannerAssist in-between shift sanitationDon proper Personal Protective EquipmentHelp maintain and improve quality and food safety, to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirementsOther duties, as assignedEducation And Experience RequiredHS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institutionMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as neededRequirements Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background checkMust be able to read and writeMust have basic math skillsMust wear required personal protective equipment and clothingMust work in a safe manner when using sanitation chemicalsMust follow company GMP and Food Safety procedureMust follow company attendance policies and proceduresQualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:Must be able to stand for long periods of time on a wet concrete floor and stand in a cold (40-48 degree) environmentMust be able to lift 50 pounds
