No relocation. Project Scope: The Database Administrator (Intermediate) will support enterprise-level reporting, analytics, and data management activities within a government healthcare environment. This role focuses on designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing reports and dashboards using SQL, MySQL, and Power BI while working with large structured and unstructured datasets. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable data insights.Key Responsibilities:Reporting & Dashboard DevelopmentDesign, build, maintain, and modify standard, ad-hoc, and scheduled reports using SQL and MySQLDevelop and manage interactive dashboards using Power BIExtract, transform, and analyze data from multiple heterogeneous sourcesWork with large-scale datasets to generate business insights and reporting solutionsData Analysis & InsightsPerform trend analysis, performance analysis, and predictive forecastingApply data analytics techniques to support decision-making processesInterpret complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful insights for stakeholdersPerformance & Business AnalyticsUtilize performance metrics and analytics tools to build operational and strategic dashboardsSupport predictive and descriptive analytics initiativesIdentify data patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvementStakeholder Support & ConsultationProvide guidance to business users on metrics, reporting structures, and data interpretationCollaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPI definitionsOffer consultation on effective use of data for business decision-makingDocumentation & TrainingDevelop and maintain detailed documentation for reporting processes, data sources, and workflowsTrain end users and team members on reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics best practicesEnsure proper knowledge transfer for all reporting solutions developedData Management & OptimizationEnsure accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of data extraction and reporting processesOptimize SQL queries and reporting performance for large datasetsMaintain and improve existing reporting systems and data pipelinesGeneral ResponsibilitiesManage multiple priorities and deliverables effectivelyWork independently in ambiguous environments and define clear reporting requirementsCollaborate with technical and non-technical teams across the organizationEnsure compliance with government data standards and reporting guidelinesRequired Skills & Experience:3+ years of experience in SQL development and querying3+ years of experience in Power BI development3+ years of experience working with large datasets in a government or regulated environment3+ years of experience with Excel for data analysis and reportingExperience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systemsKnowledge of medical terminologyPreferred Skills:Health Information Exchange (HIE) experienceHL7 messaging standardsExperience with tools such as Mirth, SQL Squirrel, PACS, CIPS, NextGen EHR, or EpicExperience working with correctional or public health systemsStrong background in healthcare data integration and reportingEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field OR equivalent professional experienceSUNSHINE ENTERPRISE USA LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
