SQL DBA

IDR is seeking a SQL Server DBA to join one of our top clients for a 100% remote opportunity! Proficient in database development, administration, and architecture. Expertise in DDL, DML, data modeling (UML), stored procedures, and DB index management. Skilled in normalization, data replication, reporting, ETL processes, and data warehouse concepts (data mining, data marts, OLAP). Advanced knowledge of SQL Server monitoring/performance tools and database security. Proven ability to resolve database performance and capacity issues. Experience with database installation, configuration, maintenance, and infrastructure health. Proficient in advanced T-SQL and PowerShell. Familiar with SQL Server tools (SSMS, SQL Profiler, Database Tuning Advisor, SQL Server Configuration Manager, DMVs, Extended Events). Strong database maintenance skills (backups, index defragmentation, integrity checks). Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) for SQL Server.
