We are looking for an experienced (A/B), Automotive Service Technician for our Lexus & Toyota of Manhattan Dealerships! Responsibilities: • Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. • Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required and then notifies service advisor • Responsible for vehicle maintenance and proper lubrication of a car's suspension system and other moving parts. • • Responsible for documenting all work performed • Road-tests vehicles when required Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. • Ensures cleanliness of all customers vehicles • Keeps shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools • Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. • Complies with factory and state requirements for technical certifications • Attends factory-sponsored training classes as required What We Are Looking For: • 3-5+ previous Technician experience (dealership preferred) • Engine (Repair, Swap, Build), Transmission, Suspension, Diagnostics experience • Toyota/Lexus Technician experience preferred • MUST HAVE NEW YORK STATE INSPECTON LICENSE • ASE CERTIFIED PREFERRED • CDK & Dealer Daily experience a plus Here's what to expect from us! • Monday through Friday schedule, Weekends OFF! • The opportunity to earn top pay, with an incredible productivity bonus - paid weekly • Unionized Benefits (Health, Dental Vision etc) • 401(k) Retirement Plan • To work in a clean, modern, temperature controlled environment • Factory sponsored training programs • A Team you can count on and professionals to grow with.
