Albany Medical College - Transplant Surgeon

Albany Medical College is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Transplant Surgeon to join its established and collaborative abdominal transplant program. This is an opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team within a leading academic health system that supports clinical excellence, education, and continued program growth.This role offers:A comprehensive transplant practice with a focus on kidney and pancreas transplantationParticipation in multi-organ deceased donor procurementA broad surgical scope, including general surgery and vascular access proceduresAccess to robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniquesThe ideal candidate will have:Experience in kidney and pancreas transplantationProficiency in multi-organ donor procurementTraining or experience in robotic and minimally invasive surgeryThe successful applicant will play an active role in advancing the transplant program while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
