S3 never asks for money during its onboarding process.”Job Title: Sr. IT Project ManagerContract Length: 24+ MonthsLocation: Tampa, FL 336074 days onsite / 1 day remote (no fully remote option)We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-level IT projects focused on SDLC and application development initiatives. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, driving execution across cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within budget, schedule, and performance expectations.The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on project management experience with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, exceptional documentation and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate technical and business stakeholders effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple IT projects simultaneously, typically handling 3–5 active projects depending on scope and complexityLead SDLC and application-focused initiatives from planning through execution and deliveryFacilitate project meetings and maintain detailed meeting minutes and transcriptsDevelop and manage project schedules, milestones, timelines, and deliverablesTrack project progress, budgets, estimates, and resource allocationMaintain RAID logs including risks, assumptions, issues, and dependenciesCoordinate activities across internal IT teams, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholdersDevelop project scope definitions, cost estimates, schedules, and resource plansEnsure adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and best practicesDrive effective utilization of SDLC methodologies and supporting infrastructure processesManage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectivelyIdentify project risks and collaborate with teams on mitigation strategiesEnsure proper documentation and maintenance of project information repositoriesTranslate complex technical information into business-friendly communication for various audiencesRequired QualificationsStrong background in Information Technology with extensive experience managing SDLC and application development projectsProven hands-on IT project management experienceExperience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex enterprise environmentsStrong understanding and practical experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesExperience with vendor management for IT projectsStrong leadership, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skillsStrong documentation and reporting experience, including forecasting time, cost, resources, and labor estimatesExperience managing project budgets, milestones, RAID logs, and stakeholder communicationsPMP Certification Preferred QualificationsExperience within the electric utility industryExperience with Azure DevOps and SmartsheetsFamiliarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platformsTools & TechnologiesAzure DevOpsSmartsheetsMicrosoft ProjectJiraSDLC MethodologiesAgile & Waterfall Frameworks
