Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. Responsible for supporting prototype builds and validation activities while troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring smooth setup, calibration, and process execution during NPI runs.Rate Range: $22/hour to $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Technician Job Responsibilities include:Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and engineering trials for new product introductions (NPI).Assist in equipment setup, tooling changes, calibration, and process adjustments.Execute validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) under engineering guidance and document results.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams and support ECO implementation. Required Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or medical device environments.Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting setup, calibration, and validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, compliance with medical device regulations, and ability to support NPI and ECO activities.
