Job Description Bilingual Production Supervisor – Medical ManufacturingLocation: Lakeland, FLPay: $70k - $75kIndustry: Medical Device / High-Volume ManufacturingMinimum Qualifications (Required)Bilingual (English/Spanish) requiredMedical device manufacturing experience (non-negotiable)Proven experience in a GMP and FDA-regulated environment (non-negotiable)5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (non - negotiable)Minimum 2+ years of direct supervisory experience leading production teams (non-negotiable)Demonstrated ownership of KPIs and production metrics, including accountability for performance outcomes — not limited to exposure or reporting (non-negotiable)Hands-on involvement in Lean Manufacturing and/or structured process improvement initiatives (required)Strong knowledge of supervisory principles, team leadership, and performance managementExperience training, coaching, and developing production team membersProven ability to plan, organize, control, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with KPIs, production metrics, and performance tracking systemsWorking knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory compliance standardsStrong problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement and waste reduction initiativesExperience collaborating cross-functionally with QA, Materials, Engineering, and Operations teamsProficient in production reporting tools and standard manufacturing systemsAbility to stand, walk, and actively supervise production activities for extended periodsWhat You'll DoSupervise, coordinate, and lead production team members to achieve scheduled outputs while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targetsDevelop and maintain effective production programs aligned with company objectives and customer requirementsEstablish, monitor, and report shift-level KPIs in partnership with the Operations Manager, ensuring accountability for performance resultsSet clear, measurable performance expectations for team members and implement corrective and developmental actions as neededDrive operational excellence initiatives focused on:Production efficiency and process optimizationMaterial cost control and waste reductionQuality improvement and compliance adherenceInventory and stock accuracyLean Manufacturing deployment and sustainmentSupport regulatory compliance efforts, including audit readiness and adherence to GMP/FDA standardsPromote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high engagement across the production floorIND2
