Python Full Stack Developer – HealthcareJob Title: Senior Python Full Stack Developer – HealthcareLocation: Remote – Onsite once a monthInitial onboarding must be completed onsiteJob Type: ContractJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Developer with recent healthcare domain experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable healthcare applications and integrations.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, React, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and healthcare applications, with recent experience working in a healthcare environment such as payer, provider, EHR/EMR, claims, clinical, or healthcare interoperability systems.Candidates must have recent hands-on healthcare experience and be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, including onsite presence once per month and onsite initial onboarding.Required Skills – MUST HAVE12+ years of overall software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Python.Strong experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.Strong frontend development experience with React.js.Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.Strong experience with SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Strong experience with Git and modern software development practices.Experience with unit testing and automated testing.Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.Healthcare Domain Experience – MUST HAVERecent healthcare domain experience within the last 2–3 years is required.Experience developing applications or integrations for healthcare organizations, health plans/payers, providers, hospitals, EHR/EMR, claims, or clinical systems.Hands-on experience working with healthcare data and/or healthcare APIs.Experience with HL7 and/or FHIR is strongly required.Experience integrating with EHR/EMR or other healthcare systems.Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, healthcare data security, and privacy requirements.Experience with healthcare workflows such as claims, eligibility, prior authorization, clinical data, patient/member data, or provider data is highly preferred.Healthcare interoperability roles commonly require HL7/FHIR, REST APIs, healthcare data exchange, and secure handling of healthcare information.Candidate ProfileMUST HAVE:Strong Python Full Stack development experience.React.js experience.REST API/microservices experience.AWS/Azure experience.SQL/database experience.Recent healthcare domain experience – MUST.HL7/FHIR or healthcare API integration experience – strongly preferred/required.HIPAA/PHI experience.Willingness to work onsite once per month.Willingness to complete initial onboarding onsite.Work ArrangementHybrid: Remote with one onsite visit per month.Important: Initial onboarding will be conducted onsite, so candidates must be able to travel to the client location for onboarding and the required monthly onsite visit.
