Summary:The Human Resource Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by facilitating various functions and processes including hiring and interviewing, responding to Team Member inquiries, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role requires a blend of administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills to ensure smooth HR operations within the organization.Duties/Responsibilities:Encourage a safe work environment and engage in Bullard safety programs and training.Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to: compensation & payroll, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.HRIS-Develop deep expertise in the company’s HRIS system, serving as the primary resource and trainer for team members to drive effective utilization, improve processes, and enhance the overall team member experience.Benefits- Develop in depth knowledge of our offerings and answers team member inquiries related to offerings, eligibility, or coverage including assisting in completion of enrollment, change, or claims forms. Maintain records related to participation, enrollment, claims, and status changes.Payroll- Utilizes HRIS to input payroll data, and process, accordingly, including irregular payments such as bonuses. Answers team member questions related to payroll and resolve issues. Ensure payroll practices meet government compliance.Field team member relations and human resource inquiries escalating issues, as necessary.Manage administrative tasks for onboarding, facilitation of orientation, file maintenance, wellness, monthly reporting, and conduct accuracy/compliance audits.Support recruitment processes at certain levels, including conducting interviews.Provide support to the HR department, including scheduling, correspondence and communication tools as delegated.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Preforms other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitaskExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDiscretion and ability to handle confidential informationStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsTeam player with a customer service mindsetAbility to work and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and other systemsPreferred Qualifications (If applicable):HR certification -SHRM or PHR What you bring:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.4 years of experience in an HR roleWorking knowledge of BenefitsExperience maintaining HRIS systems, including payroll functionKnowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 25 poundsOn-site collaboration in Cynthiana & Lexington KY offices 4 days a week with flexibility for focused remote work on Friday.Our Commitment to SafetyThe successful candidate must have the ability to understand and adhere to all company safety practices, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.Disclaimer:This job description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills efforts or working conditions associated with the job; it is intended to be an accurate reflection of those principal job elements essential to the job.
