VP, Associate Creative Director, Copy
Job DescriptionMRM Health is looking for a new VP, ACD, Copy who will think about our business and brands both creatively and strategically. This fearless leader will foster creative inspiration and fresh ideation for a group of Copywriters. This person will manage multiple brands and carry a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the creative department and big-picture agency initiatives.In This Role, You Will Serve as the Copy lead for a portfolio of business and inspire creative excellence across multiple brands or portfolio Show relentless devotion to writing craft, and creative excellence on projects big and small Be an expert storyteller, creating engaging narratives for both short and long-form communications Deep expertise in HCP-directed copy for high-science pharma brands, as well as engaging patient/consumer content Display expert knowledge about the brand, disease state, clinical trials and data, and competitive products Partner with cross-functional team members to ensure proper staffing, adhere to internal processes, and deliver work on time and on budget Mentor and develop more junior writers in the agency, as well as direct reports Present creative work and ideas for large initiatives/programs to clients; engage in creative solution conversations with clients Proactively seek out opportunities to grow the business and make recommendations Generate beautiful and strategically sound creative work for new business pitch opportunities Reviews scopes of work and makes staffing recommendations Actively manage workloads and hours for staff reporting to you. Present at client meetings and engage in discussions, serving up solutions and ideas Works collaboratively with all cross-functional team members throughout agency Supervises multiple direct reports; oversee workload, creative output, provide regular feedback, execute performance reviews, and aid in career development Keep Creative Director(s) briefed on creative projects in a timely mannerWhat We Are Looking For 8+ years of pharmaceutical Copywriting experience in a fast-paced agency setting Compelling portfolio that showcases healthcare work and exceptional concepts Experience creating innovative tactics and experiences that leverage data and technology in fresh ways Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare advertising experience 3-4 years of supervisory experience Strong understanding of how strategy shapes brand messaging and creative Proficiency with Macintosh and all creative programs/suites Excellent written communication and presentation skills Interest/experience in incorporating AI in to work flows.About MRMMRM is a modern relationship marketing agency dedicated to building enduring brand relationships. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $205,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
