General Construction Laborer

Overview We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Laborer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, and we are looking for someone who can work well under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to construction, including manual labor, site maintenance, and assisting skilled tradespeople. Duties - Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and hauling materials. - Assist skilled tradespeople in their work, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers. - Maintain the construction site by cleaning up debris, removing waste, and performing other maintenance tasks. - Assist with the setup and teardown of construction equipment and tools. - Load and unload materials and equipment. - Work in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. - Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions. - Basic knowledge of construction procedures and tools. - Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions. - Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines. - Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures. - Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. - Valid driver's license (if applicable).
