The GCCS consists of a series of extraction points, known as wells, that are interconnected via piping. Proper operation of the GCCS is required to comply with State and Federal environmental regulations. Most of day will be spent in the field maintaining the GCCS.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMonthly wellfield monitoringLiquid level measurements in Gas Extraction WellsPneumatic pump troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintenanceConduct routine blower and flare operationsMonitor perimeter probesManage and interpret data from wellfield extraction locationsFollow all health and safety requirements and ensure that health and safety standards are followed by on-site staff and sub-contractorsAvailable for on-call response to a GCCS related malfunction eventTravel to other facilities as required (50%)Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma/GEDPrior industry experience preferred/ a plus, however we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals with transferable skillsAbility to operate a pickup truck and ATVBackground check and clean drug screen requiredCandidate must be at least 18 years oldAbility to work independently, outdoors approximately 90% of each workday. Work environment involves exposure to dirt, odors, noise, high traffic, heavy equipment, and weather extremesMust possess effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsAble to handle objects up to 50 lbs. on occasionAbility to walk over steep and rough terrain dailyPossess intermediate mechanical and computer skillsMust have a current and valid driver’s license, without any restrictionsWork Hours and ArrangementsMonday - Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.On call; overtime; weekend availability - every other week.This role requires the successful candidate to be located within no more than a 1 hour driving distance of the assigned Wellfield location to support on‑site operational needs, emergency response, and routine field coordination.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described are representative of those required by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
