Property Maintenance Technician/Custodian

Job Description PrideStaff is hiring for Property Maintenance/Custodians for a large apartment complex located in South Columbus.Monday-Friday 8am-5pm$18/hr+ (Custodians)$22-25/hr. (Maintenance Techs)Immediate Start!The Custodian is responsible for the overall upkeep of the property's public areas, common areas, exteriors, vacant units, model units, floor care, and trash removalThe Custodian also assists with litter pick-up, sidewalk cleaning, snow removal, and maintenance and cleaning dutiesThe position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor (on properties with over 300 units) or Property Manager (On properties with less than 300 units)Read and carry out work orders and requests promptly, thoroughly, and efficientlyCarry out cleaning schedules and functionsPerforms necessary inspections of exteriors, units, equipment, and systems to determine cleaning neededPerforms necessary inspections of grounds, parking, and fields to determine work neededPerform a variety of groundskeeping functionsRecord work, cleaning, and improvements performedInventory, care for and maintain cleaning products, equipment, materials, and other supplies owned by the property and/or the management companyReport unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residentsDiagnose issues, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisionPerform a variety of cleaning functionsApply chemicalsUse a variety of hand and power tools in performing dutiesOperate and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all timesMaintain clean and orderly work areasCompany DescriptionPrideStaff can offer you a wide-range of rewarding career options.
