Details Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting Variable shifts consisting mostly of 8–12 hour shifts, primarily 2nd or 3rd shift with potential weekend shifts 40 hours per week, 5 days per week 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience Associate's Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology Active ARRT (R) certification required BLS (AHA) certification required IL IEMA Radiologic Technologist license required; license required if applicable Epic EMR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Proficiency in English (speak, read, write) Additional Information Performs CT imaging procedures including multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered image reconstruction Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast materials and responds to adverse or allergic reactions Reviews radiology orders, patient history, and labs to ensure appropriate exam selection and medical necessity Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and utilizes web server/viewer for after-hours preliminary readings May perform duties of CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator in their absence May be required to perform duties in other modalities within the department for which licensure is held Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not be on continuous assignment at this facility for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning American Traveler Job ID #P- .
