ESY Summer Special Education Aide

Summer aides needed for the 2026 Summer ESY program!Responsibilities:Work with life skills, autistic support, or emotional support studentsAssist the teacher with classroom responsibilities including but not limited to:Assist students with class work and lessonsKeep students focused on tasksAssist with academics and promptingAssist with toiletingQualifications:Must be able to read materials at middle school grade level.Understand the academic curriculum.Interact appropriately with students as well as staff.Proficient in English (speaking, reading and writing).Maintain a calm demeanor with students, exercise good judgment and have excellent interpersonal skills.Able to handle multiple tasks and have good organizational skills.Must be understanding, patient, and enjoy working with students.Demonstrated professionalism and responsibility, and a strong work ethic.Location(s): Rainbow Elementary School, Intermediate Area High School, and CASHSchedule: Monday through ThursdayJuly 6th to July 30thParaprofessional Hours: 8:30 am to 12:30 pmStudent Hours: 9:00 am to 12:00 pmRequirements:High School Diploma required.
