Role SummaryThe Corporate Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that build employee capability, consistency, and safety across BMarko Structures’ operations. This role partners with leaders and subject-matter experts to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to perform to standard, comply with applicable requirements, and support quality outcomes in the field and in the shop/office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct training needs analyses by role, site, and project; partner with Operations, Safety, and Quality to define learning objectives and performance standards.Develop and maintain training materials (lesson plans, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and refresher content) aligned to company procedures and applicable regulations.Deliver instructor-led training, hands-on demonstrations, and field coaching for new hire onboarding, skills development, and recurring compliance topics.Coordinate onboarding schedules and track completion of required training and certifications.Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, observation, and performance metrics; implement improvements based on results and stakeholder feedback.Maintain accurate training records in the company’s systems (attendance, scores, certifications, expirations, and audit-ready documentation).Support development of standard work and competency checklists for key tasks (e.g., equipment operation, installation methods, quality checks).Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to expand internal training capacity and ensure consistent delivery across sites.Participate in incident/near-miss reviews as requested and incorporate learnings into training and coaching.Ensure training environments are safe and appropriate; reinforce expectations for PPE and safe work practices during all training activities.Required Qualifications2+ years of experience delivering training, coaching, or instruction in construction, manufacturing, field services, or a similar hands-on environment.Demonstrated ability to translate technical processes into clear, practical training for adult learners.Strong facilitation and communication skills; comfortable leading groups and providing 1:1 coaching.Working knowledge of safety practices relevant to the work environment (e.g., PPE, hazard awareness, equipment safety).Proficiency with basic computer tools (email, documents, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn training record systems.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally/regionally as needed.Ability to stand, walk, and work in active jobsite/shop conditions; ability to lift up to [X] lbs with reasonable accommodation.Preferred QualificationsExperience in structures/steel, modular building, or building envelope installation (or similar trade).Formal training or certification in instructional design, adult learning, or safety (e.g., OSHA 10/30 or equivalent).Experience building onboarding programs, competency matrices, and skills assessments.Bilingual communication skills in [language(s)].Experience with LMS platforms or digital learning tools (video, microlearning, e-learning).Working Conditions & ScheduleWork may take place in an office, shop, warehouse, and/or active jobsite environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
