2nd Ops Technician - Packaging Position SummaryThe 2nd Ops Technician I is responsible for ensuring quality parts are completed per the operation specifications listed on the print, process sheets, or work order. This position will perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations and setups on blasting, buffing, polishing, laser marking, laser welding, and deburring equipment. Other processes include light assembly and packaging components and product in preparation for shipping.1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pmResponsibilities2nd Ops Technician - Packaging Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate equipment for laser marking, laser welding, blasting, buffing, polishing, assembly, and deburringMaintain average machine set-ups and targeted rates per hour efficienciesPerform preventative maintenance to ensure consistent machine performanceFinish products in accordance with customer, regulatory, and company requirementsWork on components that require adjusting, fitting, and aligning to close tolerancesUse basic inspection equipment such as a micrometer, caliper, Micro Vu, Optical Comparator plug gages and thread gages to inspect partsRead and understand basic blueprintsInspect products per the In-process Inspection (IP)Read and understand routers, DPM's, MPS procedures and work order travelersAssemble and package diversified medical components, sub-assemblies, or products to customer requirements to procedure, instructions and printsDetermine packaging by looking at the bill of materials (BOM)Adhere to clean-room requirementsPerform a variety of duties such as molding, washing, label printing, labeling, deburring, tray and pouch packaging and sealing and boxing for sterilization.Deburr parts to print using deburring knives, hand grinding tool, dremel, or other deburring toolsIdentify and remove burrs from all types of thread holes and plate assembliesRead and understand job layoutsUse a microscope and hand toolsOperate laser marking and welding equipmentQualifications2nd Ops Technician - Packaging QualificationsAbility to run a variety of secondary operations equipmentAbility to use a microscope and hand toolsAbility to perform a variety of work dutiesMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskDesirable Criteria & Qualifications1 year of experience in a manufacturing environmentMedical manufacturing experienceExperience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO)rms Company BenefitsAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
