This is a fun yet demanding role that includes working directly with the General Counsel and Chief People Officer as well as other functional areas of the company.What you'll achieve:Legal Projects & Process SupportProvide contract administration support, including managing contract inbox, coordinate signatures on electronic documents, add key data into contract management softwareManage and maintain electronic document storage systemsCompile data and prepare reports for internal stakeholdersManage or assist with special projects as requestedAssist with compliance initiativesBe a point of contact for the organization and conduct initial review of incoming internal legal matters, request and obtain additional information and documentation as needed, and work cross-functionally to route matters to appropriate ownersAssist with invention capture and patent filings, including coordinating Patent Committee meetings and following up with inventors to coordinate required signaturesAssist with record-keeping and corporate maintenance for U.S. and global subsidiariesFormat and proofread compliance training and other team materialsOrganize and maintain legal team filesPeople & Culture Projects & Process SupportManage all global People & Culture meeting material prep and recognition program execution.Ideate and execute all P&C teambuilding and internal group events.Provide support for on-site corporate events at the Portland office.Build global holiday calendar inputs, approval and posting to The Wire. Create and send monthly holiday reminder emails.Distribute and track required deadlines for updates to Legal employment compliance notices (e.g.: annual emails for NE CA Pay Data, CA required notices, employment law poster refresh and distribution to all US sites).Submit large/bulk employee profile change requests via our P&C ticketing portal.Manage inputs, updates and reports from the Employee Event Tracker as directed by CPO.Foundational WorkAssist with generation, submission and tracking of expense reports for both P&C and LegalAssist with managing Outlook calendars and coordinating schedules within the P&C and Legal Department, including working with executive administrative assistants throughout the executive teamManage all People & Culture and Legal mail, scanning, storing and distributing to the appropriate owner.Work cross-functionally to support Legal and People & Culture Team projects and process improvementsAbout you:This position requires a Bachelor's degree & 5 years of related work experience - prior experience with a technology company and/or legal or human resources setting preferredProfessional and extraordinarily poised under pressure - you thrive in a fast-paced working environmentAbility to successfully manage relationships at all levels of the organizationDiscretion, diplomacy and excellent judgment; high degree of integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive informationPositive and personable with strong interpersonal skills and an upbeat, "can do" attitudeMeticulous attention to detail and follow-throughStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe; ability to quickly learn and embrace new software programs and productivity toolsDedicated and highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks and the flexibility to handle changing priorities successfully with little supervisionWhat we'll offer:At Ampere we believe in taking care of our employees and providing a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, cash long-term incentive, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $119,000 and $179,000.
