Job SummaryThe QA Engineer develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. This role devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and organizational quality objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications.Perform product sell-off to DCMA and prepare documentation packages for customer review.Create non-conformance reports when required and participate in RCCA activities.Conduct daily ESD checks and ensure adherence to quality management systems.Utilize inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and measurement devices.Support rework and repair processing for production hardware/software.Translate customer requirements into program execution and tasking.Participate in program process definition, documentation, and quality auditing.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology; or 8–10 years of engineering/technical experience in lieu of degree.4–6+ years of quality assurance or engineering experience.Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings, prints, and specifications.Strong communication skills with multiple customers, including U.S. Government stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to learn Client software and data management programs.Proven ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams.Experience in rework/repair processing and production hardware/software quality.
