Through coordination, reporting, and education operations, you will help colleagues stay prepared, empowered, and connected to our mission of caring for and improving human life.What qualifications you will need:Emergency Operations and Environment of Care Coordinator is tasked to coordinate and provide administrative support for Emergency Operations and Environment of Care Programs and Committees. .Emergency Operations Job Functions:Manages EMResource, HCA Alert, and WebEOC accesses and rosters.Infant and Pediatric Abduction Drill coordination.Assists maintenance and onboarding of decontamination team - development, staffing & training,Supports training of hospital staff on disaster response, organization & responsibilities.Disaster supply inventories.Develops agendas and takes minutes for Emergency Preparedness meetings & identifies issues for discussion.Hospital Environment of Care Functions:Coordination of EOC departmental rounding and EOC rounding findings/ reports.Leads EOC committee content compilation and takes meeting minutes.Coordinates designated environment annual risk assessments.Coordinates and assist with the preparation of summaries on findings, recommendations, actions taken, and results of PI activities.Assist with monitoring and/or conducts activities to ensure documentation on regulatory compliance and survey readiness.Reviews records, reports, logs, and files as required.Education and Certifications:Bachelor's Degree PreferredBasic Cardiac Life Support -American Red Cross or American Heart Association Preferred 90 daysFEMA/NIMS certifications (100, 200, 700, and 800) Required 60 daysExpereince:Minimum of 3 years in Healthcare, Emergency Management, or Hospital Engineering operations preferred.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, team facilitation, and project management.Proficient in computers and all applications of Microsoft Office.BenefitsSt. David's Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
