Job SummaryPunch holes and nibbles out parts and blanks using electronic/hydraulic turret punch press.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesCreates and selects computer programs for job and installs punches and diesCompares job ticket to blueprints and station information to verify part number and rev. level.Places sheets on Amada press for punching.Checks parts to the blueprint and ticket, to verify they match customer specs and standards.Monitors quality being produced and inspects work for quality.At completion of the job, fills out all required documentation on job ticket.Verifies part count to assure that production numbers have been met.Removes punches and dies from press and returns to shelvesCleans and maintains press to insure proper operation.Cross train to operate various pieces of manufacturing equipment in Fabrication department. Other duties as assignedRequired Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.1 year experience in CNC programming.Familiarity with CMM type measuring systems.At least 2 years’ fabrication experience operating industrial machinery.Required SkillsProficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PCStrong verbal and written communication skills with communication in EnglishReading comprehension, understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.Good math and analytical skillsGood decision making skillsAbility to plan and organize work activities with a focus on efficiency.Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities and minimal supervisionMust be able to follow directions and work in a team environmentAdditional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives and goalsPAY - $23.00 Per HourEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
