For more information regarding the benefit package go to: West Texas A&M University: Human Resources BenefitsNOTICE - All posted positions are subject to budget approval.General SummaryThe Marketing and Digital Content Coordinator, under general supervision, assists with the coordination and execution of marketing programs, digital media efforts, and communication projects for the WT Enterprise Center (WTEC) and as assigned, the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business (COB). Provides professional photography, videography, digital newsletter production, general marketing, minimal graphic design, and other communication strategies for marketing collateral that enables programs, services, and events that meet business objectives and enhances brand image.ResponsibilitiesContent Production:Produces, records, directs, and edits professional promotional and news-based videos and photography highlighting a variety of facilities, programs, and educational offerings from WTEC and the COB.Strategic Marketing & Communications:Meets with internal stakeholders to determine marketing needs for WTEC facilities and programs and executes plans to promote programs and services.Digital Newsletter Production:Conceptualizes, writes, and produces regular digital newsletters for WTEC to communicate business news, program updates, and highlights of staff and entrepreneurial activities as well as other internal and external communications as assigned. Assists with maintaining accurate contact lists.Collateral Design & PrintDesigns or coordinates the outsourcing of design and prepares marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, and posters) for print production, ensuring all materials meet University image identity standards.Social & Digital IntegrationDevelops and integrates visual content into online platforms and social media communities to enhance networking and engagement among students, alumni, and the business community.Campus Liaison:Coordinates with University Communication and Marketing to ensure all projects maintain University image identity standards and effectively leverage campus resources.SupervisionHires, trains, and supervises a student employee primarily responsible for assisting with graphic design and social media management.Media Management:Maintains a comprehensive image repository and archives raw and master materials for WTEC.ReportingCollects and analyzes engagement data for presentations and strategic reporting to facilitate continuous improvement.Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System, University and job-specific online training courses.This document represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions. Other duties as assigned.Necessary QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Production, or applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Three (3) years of related experience.Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Knowledge of professional photography/videography equipment, video editing software, and digital media design software.Ability to write and curate professional content for digital newsletters and marketing campaigns.Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with stakeholders, including small business owners, university faculty, and students.Ability to supervise and lead skills development of student employees.Occasional evening and weekend work.Occasional local and national travel.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in related field.Six (6) years of related experience.Applicant InstructionsPlease include the following with your application:Cover letterResumeThree referencesPlease attach all documents in the attachment box at the bottom of the “My Experience” page before continuing through the application.
