Construction Project Engineer, Data Centers

Location: Project near Hamlet, NC. Their operations team is hiring a Project Engineer to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage on-site construction engineering activities on large-scale builds. You will be the key technical resource on site, supporting construction planning and design, design interpretation, application of construction methods, conflict resolution, constructability, and shop drawing processing.What you will doEnsure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the construction scheduleProvide technical support for construction: planning, design interpretation, methods, conflict resolution, constructability reviews, shop drawing processingDevelop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and work‐controlling documents in PrologManage subcontractor planning, administration, and work assignmentsInterface with on-site departments to resolve problems and protect schedule and qualityRepresent the project in A/E, client, and project management meetingsProcess RFIs, manage meeting minutes, and produce material status reportsWhat we are looking for4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experienceMinimum 3 years of similar construction engineering experienceAdvanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standardsIn-depth understanding of how engineering interacts with procurement, scheduling, controls, and field operationsStrong communication and coordination skills with cross‐functional teamsProfessional English, written and spokenTN Visa (USMCA): Mexican and Canadian engineers, classified under the Engineer TN category.
