Job Description The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:Sunday-Thursday: 6:00pm-4:30amClass A, B or CComplete daily inspection of equipmentFollow procedures for damaged equipmentResponsibilities for using an industrial tractor (yard goat) to move trailers as instructed within the yard to facilities shipping and receiving functions. Will rely on instructions and pre-established procedures to perform daily job tasks.Responsibilities include but not limited to hooking and unhooking trailers, moving trailers in and out of doors to and from parking/spotting locations and securing doors.Responsible for daily inspection of industrial truck and/or yard goat, including safety checks while adhering to applicable regulations and procedures. Document and reports all maintenance and safety issues.Will adhere to all guidelines while operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.Inspect trailers for defects prior to hooking and upon hooking at dock locations.Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Minimum 1 year Driving Experience, Class A, B or CExperience in a fast paced, distribution / logistics environment, strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines.High VolumeHigh school or GED equivalentMust be able to read / write English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Pay $30.00 - $30.00 per hour
