DescriptionThis position is open to internal Full Time Faculty only StipendsWinter $540.00Fall/Spring $500 for each semesterSummer $2,160The Clinical & Operations Coordinator oversees all clinical education logistics, partnerships, and compliance requirements for the nursing program. This role ensures that students are placed in high-quality clinical environments and meet all regulatory and institutional requirements. The coordinator supports clinical faculty and manages the day-to-day operational needs of the program.Examples of DutiesCoordinate clinical placements across all program tracks and campuses, ensuring adequate and appropriate learning experiences.Maintain and strengthen partnerships with clinical agencies (e.g.,AtlantiCare, Shore Medical Center, Cooper Cape Medical Center).Oversee clinical scheduling and faculty assignments in collaboration with program leadership.Ensure student compliance with all clinical requirements (e.g., health records, background checks, drug screenings).Supervise and support clinical adjunct faculty and clinical field specialists.Monitor and evaluate clinical performance using established tools and systems (e.g., Trajecsys or equivalent).Address student clinical performance issues, including professionalism and progression concerns.Address and resolve academic student concerns related to grading, progression, and course expectations. Escalate them to the Executive Director when appropriate.Coordinate simulation and lab utilization to support clinical learning objectives.Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements (e.g., New Jersey Board of Nursing).Assist with accreditation documentation related to clinical education.Troubleshoot operational challenges, including last-minute clinical changes, site issues, and faculty coverage needs.Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Nursing Education.Typical QualificationsOpen to full-time faculty members onlyMaster's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.Experience in clinical instruction or supervision of nursing students.Knowledge of clinical compliance requirements and regulatory standards (e.g., New Jersey Board of Nursing).PreferredQualificationsExperience coordinating clinical placements in an academic setting.Established relationships with regional healthcare organizations.Familiarity with clinical tracking systems (e.g.,Trajecsys, CastleBranch).Experience supervising adjunct or per diem clinical faculty.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong organizational and logistical management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Commitment to student safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.Supplemental InformationThis position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location
