Mental Health Therapist

Job Title: Associate TherapistLocation: Lancaster, CAPosition Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $40/hr.Job Description:We are seeking an Associate Therapist for a residential treatment program. This role is ideal for a clinician who is comfortable working in a fast-paced behavioral health setting and is experienced in providing strong clinical support to clients participating in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care.The Associate Therapist will provide therapeutic services to clients in a virtual setting while maintaining timely, accurate documentation and collaborating closely with the clinical team to support quality client care.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate individual therapy sessionsCarry and manage a caseload of clients in PHP/IOP level of careComplete assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge documentationSupport clients with mental health needs through clinically appropriate interventionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program standardsCollaborate with the clinical team regarding client progress, treatment goals, and care coordinationEnsure services are delivered in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standardsQualifications:Registered Associate Therapist in California (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC)Experience working in behavioral health and/or mental health treatment settingsPrior PHP/IOP experience preferredStrong clinical documentation and organizational skillsComfortable providing services in a fully remote/virtual environmentProfessional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with a treatment team
