Colorado Cannabis Sales Representative
At Maple Management, we are seeking a qualified sales representative to help us sell Maple product lines. Sales representative would be responsible for growing the current Recreational Cannabis Market client list in Colorado.
The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving sales presentations, cold calls, and meeting with purchasing manager, it’s essential that our sales rep be personable, professional and highly motivated.

Objectives of this Role
Represent Maple Management products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding of the product lines and customer needs
Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales clients
Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Daily visits to shops in all of Colorado
Calling and emailing customers daily
Create working relationships with new clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
Coordinate with sales management to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
Maintain new and existing accounts by creating a personal relationship with each account
Gather orders and process them
Work with production and distribution team with respect to orders
Skills and Qualifications
Must be 21 or older and must be able to qualify for an MED Badge
3-5 years in outside sales or promotional setting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
Proficiency with sales management software
Personal integrity
Must have own form of transportation
Must be willing to be on the road often to meet with prospective or current clients
Ability to travel often
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven success in a sales or promotional role
Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
Strong organizational skills
Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
