Software Engineer
Location: Camden, NJSalary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD HourlyDescription: About the Role This role focuses on building high-performance software that supports advanced radar modeling and simulation within digital twin environments. The engineer will contribute across radar signal construction, processing, scene modeling, and control systems. The position emphasizes systems-level thinking, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust simulation solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ software for radar modeling and simulation systems Contribute to radar scene modeling, signal construction, signal processing, and control components Integrate software into complex system-of-systems environments with external dependencies Apply systems engineering principles to ensure scalable and reliable simulation architectures Collaborate closely with technical leads, architects, and systems engineers Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews Perform analysis and problem-solving using applied mathematics and engineering principles Create and maintain clear technical documentation Mentor and guide junior engineers while influencing technical direction Support high-volume, high-fidelity simulation and digital twin initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Physics 6-9 years of professional software engineering experience Strong proficiency in C++ or another object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#) Hands-on experience with systems engineering concepts Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work onsite in Camden, NJ at least four days per week Nice-to-Have Qualifications Strong foundation in linear algebra, statistics, and signal processing Functional understanding of radar systems, subsystems, and architectures Experience with radar modeling, simulation tools, or design environments Background in radar algorithms, data analysis, or simulation software Prior technical leadership or program execution experience By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
