Drafting & Document Control SpecialistLocation: Bethlehem, PASummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Drafting / Data Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, plans, and construction documents that support our engineering projects. You will also manage and maintain facility records, ensuring that all site and plant drawings, directories, and project files are current and easily accessible.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and update drawings, layouts, sketches, and other data presentations. Maintain and regularly update site and plant layout drawings, directories, and associated files. Ensure accurate and timely upkeep of electronic system files, facility directories, and drafting standards. Follow and enhance document control policies, procedures, and drafting standards. Collaborate with Facilities Engineers on expansions, alterations, and new facility builds. Assist other engineering departments and manufacturing teams to support and document production processes. Manage small projects from initial requirements to execution with support from the team. Complete assigned projects within established timelines and budgets. QualificationsEducation:Associate degree in drafting technology or a related field. Degrees in architectural or engineering disciplines are preferred, but other technical degrees with relevant experience will be considered. Experience & Skills Essential:3-5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, particularly in architectural, structural, and MEP systems. Experience with rendering or 3D modeling is a plus. Proficient in reading, interpreting, and creating drawings and specifications using computer systems and equipment. Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel). Desired:Knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, database programs, and project management tools like MS Project. Familiarity with construction materials and methods. Personal AttributesExceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a customer-focused mentality. Quick learner, adaptable to new situations, and open to taking on tasks beyond the general job description. Willingness to travel if required (less than 10%).
