🔐 Application Security Engineer (Cloud)We're hiring an Application Security Engineer to help design, build, and operate application security tooling for a large‑scale, cloud‑native engineering environment. This role sits close to core platform and developer teams and focuses on automation, reliability, and secure software delivery at scale.What You'll DoDesign, implement, and operate application security tools across the SDLCIntegrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and secret scanning into CI/CD pipelinesImprove the reliability, scalability, and observability of AppSec platformsMinimize developer friction through automation and well‑designed workflowsPartner closely with engineers, platform teams, and security stakeholdersTroubleshoot production issues and participate in on‑call support rotationsWhat We're Looking For8+ years of experience in application security, software engineering, or cloud engineeringStrong hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and AppSec toolingSolid cloud background (AWS preferred) and infrastructure‑as‑code exposureProficiency in scripting or programming (Python strongly preferred)Strong understanding of modern application architectures and secure SDLC practicesNice to HaveExperience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated environmentsBackground building internal security platforms or developer toolingFamiliarity with Agile and DevOps practicesLocationHybrid roles available in Dallas, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Malvern, PAThis is an opportunity to work on real security engineering problems at scale, influence how developers build software, and help shape the future of application security in a cloud‑first environment.
