Boring machine operator

*Job Overview* We are seeking full time position centered around running our boring machine line. This would require experience in setting up, running, and operating horizontal and vertical boring machines. Experience a plus if worked in other woodworking machine operator positions such as bell, chop saw, shaper, overhead routers, or shapers. *Duties* * Set up and operate boring machines, including horizontal and vertical boring machines * Collaborate with frame builders / assemblers to ensure machined components properly work with final products while maintaining quality control standards. * Maintain patterns and equipment in conjunction with upcoming orders needed * Perform routine maintenance on boring equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance. * Use measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications. * Work with supervisor to prioritize what is needed * Work in other areas of machine room as needed *Requirements* * Experience running/operating horizontal and vertical boring machines * Understanding of measurement tools * Knowledge of tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and machining best practices. * Factory or manufacturing facility experience emphasizing safety protocols and quality standards. * Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on skills using hand tools and machining equipment.
