This Supervisor will successfully supervise all areas of the shop facility including working in a team environment. The shop maintains Old Dominion truck fleet by inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts within heavy equipment including forklifts. Working knowledge of basic welding and DOT compliance. This position requires decisive decision-making skills when required, along with great time management. Follow all company procedures and supervisors' instructions along with administrative duties when required.Responsibilities:Monitors and evaluates the shop facility in a safe, efficient, timely, cost effective and practical mannerContinually research new technology relating to the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehiclesSchedule and assign workManage manpower to ensure peak workload times are coveredAudit work ordersActively monitors work habits and strive to increase productivityAssist with development and monitoring of paperless environment, include Bar CodingMaintain a high level of housekeepingRecommend and actively train all employees with the goal of improving their knowledgeMaintain a high level of customer satisfactionWork closely with the parts manager and shop manager to ensure a timely repair of equipmentProvide information, advice and direction to all employees in their area of responsibilityWork closely with warranty administratorAssist with formation of shop budget and management of the sameRecruiting and retention of shop employeesQualifications:High School Degree or equivalent preferredSupervisor experience preferredCompensation Range: ($67,457-$84,321)Working Days: Shift and hours to be determined.Application Window: 03/18/2026 - 05/18/2026Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
