Quality Assurance Lead

QA LeadNew York, NY 100223 days a week onsiteFull time opportunityWe are looking for a QA Lead to establish and lead our Quality Assurance function. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability of our platform, solutions, and third-party integrations. The QA Lead will own our testing strategy, drive automation, and leverage AI-powered QA tools to increase velocity and coverage.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the overall QA strategy, processes, and tooling.Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts (2 FTE).Develop AI-enhanced test automation frameworks to accelerate validation cycles.Ensure quality across:The core platform (backend, frontend, APIs)Third-party aggregator services and integrationsClient onboarding and delivery solutionsCollaborate with Engineering, Product, and Project Management to define acceptance criteria.Establish quality metrics and dashboards, track progress, and continuously improve test coverage.Advocate for "shift-left” testing practices, embedding QA early in development lifecycles.Qualifications7+ years of QA experience in SaaS, FinTech, or enterprise software.2+ years of leadership or team management experience.Expertise in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman).Strong background in API testing, integrations, and security/regulatory testing (e.g., OAuth2, OIDC, FDX).Familiarity with AI-driven QA tools (test case generation, predictive defect analysis, intelligent regression).Excellent organizational, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.Benefits of this role:Lead a new QA function with high visibility across the company.Shape the quality strategy for a mission-critical financial data platform.Work with AI-powered tools to transform how QA is done.Collaborative pod-based culture where quality is owned at every level.
