Title: AssemblerLocation: Salt Lake City, UT - OnsitePosition Type: ContractRole OverviewThis role involves the precision assembly of complex electronic systems and subassemblies. You will use various tools and technical drawings to integrate components into large-scale rack systems and finished cabinets.Typical Responsibilities:Precision Integration: Align and secure parts using methods such as soldering, bolting, crimping, and press-fitting.System Construction: Install multi-level modules into racks using sophisticated configurations and attach final hardware components.Specialized Processing: Perform detailed tasks including potting, sanding, epoxy bonding, and micro-labeling.Quality Testing: Execute "go/no-go" inspections and online testing to ensure all units meet strict production standards.Technical Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance on line machinery and utilize shop floor control systems for data collection.Knowledge Sharing: Assist in the instruction and qualification of new team members.Qualifications:High school diploma (or equivalent) and ideally 1 year of experience in electronics assembly.Strong manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; ability to use a microscope for long periods.Basic mechanical and computer skills, including the ability to read and follow intricate work orders.Physical capability to sit or stand for long periods and occasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs (or 50 lbs for system-level teams).
