Key Responsibilities * Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for new products. * Collaborate with design engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). * Specify, procure, and validate new equipment, tooling, and fixtures required for NPI. * Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process control plans. * Manage and execute pilot production runs, analyzing data to identify and resolve process issues. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and efficiency during product introduction. * Facilitate the smooth transition of new products from development to full-scale production. Recommended Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. * 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment. * Proven expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. * Demonstrated ability to develop, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes for new products. * Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams through product launch cycles. * Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as PFMEA, SPC, or Lean Manufacturing.
