Mechanical Engineer

Harris & Bruno International (H&B), a printing and spare parts manufacturer, is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and improving industrial equipment and components, working closely with cross-functional teams from concept through production.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.Perform design analysis including stress, tolerance, and thermal considerations.Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, and project teams to ensure design feasibility.Support prototyping, testing, and validation of equipment.Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency.Maintain accurate documentation including BOMs, drawings, and engineering changes.Troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues.Position will require some travel.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proficiency in SolidWorks (modeling, assemblies, drawings)Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, welding, etc.)Experience with GD&T and engineering documentation standardsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsBENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES:MedicalDentalVoluntary VisionCompany provided life insurance with the option of additional voluntary life insurance.401k with employer matchRobust PTO policy beginning with 3 weeks earned the first yearPaid holidaysHybrid schedule following probation periodH&B is a state-of-the-art manufacturing company headquartered in Roseville, CA with an established location in Germany and new location in Post Falls, Idaho with a brand-new facility.
