PDW is seeking a Final Release Verification Inspector, The Final Release Verification Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and readiness of flight hardware and aircraft systems prior to testing, shipment and delivery. This role performs both final assembly aircraft inspections and final release verification audits, ensuring adherence to quality standards, engineering requirements, and mission readiness. The ideal candidate will excel by working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in driving efficient, compliant and scalable Quality Management System processes across current and future PDW locations. What You'll Do Conduct Final Release Verification audits on completed products against work order Bills of Materials (BOM) Perform Final Assembly inspections of aircraft systems and components to ensure conformity to engineering and quality requirements Review flight hardware at the completion of assembly, test, and packaging cycles Document inspection results in Final Release Verification and Aircraft Inspection records Identify, analyze, and report quality discrepancies across assembly, process, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems Escalate nonconformances and recommend shipment holds when necessary Support airworthiness and readiness validation for completed aircraft assemblies Track and manage metrics related to verification and inspection performance Ensure compliance with all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures Support process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of relevant inspection experience and/or training At least 6 months of experience inspecting or testing similar product Demonstrated competency in final release verification and/or aircraft inspection processes Experience with flight hardware and electro-mechanical assemblies Experience with aircraft final assembly inspection or airworthiness validation Familiarity with military inspection programs and mission environments Basic Microsoft suite competency Ability to generate basic inspection metrics ITAR Requirement In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
