Warehouse Associate Order SelectorThe warehouse associate is responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, or may have a generalized role working in all departments. ResponsibilitiesLoading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods. Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as boxes or pallets as well as shipping trucks. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Process paperwork necessary for order completion. Verify computations against physical count of stock Cycle Counting. Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same. Operate machinery in order to complete tasks. Utilize RF equipment when fulfilling orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Promotes a safe work environment through personal actions. Identify and report any concerns. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-3 years of experience in distribution. Knowledge of operating a motorized pallet jack. Able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. individually and up to 160 lbs. with a team lift in a physical environment. Ability to make repetitive movements, including but not limited to bending and squatting. Work EnvironmentRequires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. Comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort.
